Vairamuthu on Illayaraja

Thanks to my friend Thirugnanam for pointing me out about Variamuthu's book "Indha kulathil Kal Erindhavargal", where Vairamuthu briefs about various personalities he has come across.

Neither I am proficient in Tamil nor interested in kavithais. Mere fact that VM has spoken about Illayaraja drove me to every book store I could think of, during my trip to India and finally managed to grab one!!

This is just one side of the story I guess. I still don't understand what the real problem was.

What I get from this is that Vairamuthu is a saint, and IR was a misguided youth, who went astray from the path of truthfulness and justice. Engeyo kanakku idikkudhu.

I agree with you all. This is just one side of the story. Anyways, I wanted to grab a copy of this book and glad the trip helped me to get one.
